Reflection on October

A month of Deep Process and Reflection as I support my daughter and grandchildren on the death of their father and grandpa.

Chris gave me the greatest gift - my beautiful daughter and for that I am grateful. He chose not to be part of our lives until she was in her mid 20’s and over the last 20 years they built powerful bonds and for that I am grateful.

I can honestly say that this death has knocked me sideways - although we held no relationship with each other. I have met much death in my life both personally and professionally and this came hot on the heels of the unexpected death of my cousin. I am pleased he is no longer suffering, I am thrilled that Chris found love in his life and I am delighted that my daughter was able to spend time with him in his last week. So why am I sideswiped?

As with all relationships, it is often not until they end abruptly that reflection ensues. Why did I do this or that, choose to or choose not to… left with open ended questions that can never be closed. I am not sure if they are regrets or just ponderings.

Then I interviewed Karen Taylor with her new book Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy Frequently Asked Questions. This got me thinking about the correlation between ‘rapport’ and ‘trust’. Which led to a deep dive into my trust issues and how they have hindered me throughout my life. I had never considered ‘trust’ as an issue and that has sent me down a very deep rabbit hole - I will stay there until I know this is resolved - I am surrounded by love and support in all aspects of my life and I have no fear - just a willingness to delve deep and scrub out this new cave that has opened up for me.

Personal and Spiritual Development is never ending - we go upwards and around the spiral and meet new challenges each time. This is why we need a tribe - a tribe of beautiful people who can hold space for us, who can hold us in the physical, and who can support our healing through their thoughts and light energy. Then we can ‘dissolve into love’ mesh, merge and engulf ourselves in the powerful healing light of love.

In our Circle of Light - we are such a tribe, clean of all judgement, clean of all ego and dysfunction - and even if that is only for that hour once a month -it is a beautiful space to share. We meet on Zoom on the first Monday of the month at 18.00/6pm London Time - do check the time zone as we have just changed to GMT. You are more than welcome to join us and will be made very welcome.
